How can an Ouzo bottle help our work in Waterloo, Sierra Leone?
Since Glenys Adams visited Sierra Leone in 2007 her mother, Kathleen, has been collecting 5p coins for The Waterloo Partnership, in a rather unusual place; an Ouzo bottle which she brought back from Greece many years ago. She often wondered how much was in it, but decided to wait until the bottle was full. It was almost full when she died in December. She would have been amazed to know that she had collected just a few pence short of £60. A cheque for £60 was recently sent to The Waterloo Partnership, as a gift from her.
